A few of us that are heading to the Literary Liaison evening with RICHARD DAWKINS are meeting up for coffee before hand. If you're going, or even if you're not going, feel free to join us.

The talk starts at 7pm so we're likely to be gone before that. I don't think seating is allocated so, in order to get good seats, I suspect we'll be departing reasonably early.

Following the talk public entertainment will be provided by a local cult who will be handing out On the Origin of Species with the comedy foreword written by our very own funny-man, Ray "Banana Man" Comfort. If you wish to hang around until then, feel free to do so and join us for a good, old-fashioned book burning. Or at least ripping out the foreword. :)

Gah, I can't believe I only just heard about this. Very disappointed not to be able to go. Anybody got an amazingly unlikely extremely last minute spare ticket give me a call on 021 1345 215 -Dean.

Yeah, I'm aiming for half past three, if anyone's showing up who doesn't know me, I'll be the guy with the shaved head in a suit, jumping up and down screaming "I'm going to see Dawkins!!!"

I have some pamphlets to give to the Creationists, refuting Comforts "foreward" of Origin of Species, my kids will be handing them out. You can find them on DontDissDarwin.com :o)

I'll try and make it on time. Cameron is the one that is actually aiming for the 3.30pm arrival. Also, I don't believe there will actually be any book burnings, but it sounded funny in my head when read in context.
