Continuing the goal of having a speaker each month;
The talk will start at 6:30pm. We have the venue until 10pm. If things continue, we can move to the downstairs bar. The venue will have the bar open and bar snacks and meals are available.
A special thanks to The Twisted Hop for the special deal on the location.
When Intelligence Goes Bad
- Richard Graham
History is littered with the intellectual remains of some incredibly smart people who nevertheless let credulity get the better of them. Some have come to believe a wide range of extremely weird things, often in opposition to an overwhelming body of evidence and scientific consensus. In this seminar we will examine some of these cases and identify a set of logical problems in thinking that smart people are paradoxically more vulnerable to than their less intelligent and less educated peers.
Unfortunately work comnmitments kept me out of town - such shame. Hope to hear it another time. Robert.
Great talk, Well done Richard! More please!
